1. Overview

This website, mechanicalbow.com, is operated by STARING INTERNATIONAL TRADING LIMITED, trading as MechanicalBow ("MechanicalBow", "we", "us" or "our"). By visiting the site or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or be purchasing with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. We currently sell and ship to addresses within the United States only.

3. Products and orders

We try to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible. Colors, finishes and handmade details can vary slightly from what you see on screen, and band power and draw weight depend on how the product is set up and used.

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it. We may refuse or cancel an order, or limit quantities, for example if a product is out of stock, the price or description is wrong, or the order looks fraudulent. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund you in full.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars. Shipping costs and any applicable sales tax are shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but a change will not affect an order we have already accepted. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store your full card details.

5. Shipping and returns

All orders ship from the United States. Delivery times, shipping rates and how to return an item are set out in our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of these terms.

6. Product use and safety

Our products are sold for target shooting and outdoor recreation. Slingshots and ammunition can cause serious injury or damage if misused. Always wear eye protection, inspect bands before every use, never aim at a person, animal or property, and make sure you have a safe backstop.

You are responsible for using the products safely and in line with the laws where you live. Slingshot laws differ by state and city, and it is your responsibility to check them before ordering.

7. Using this site

You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose; to interfere with its security or operation; to upload viruses or malicious code; to collect other users' information; or to copy, resell or exploit any part of the site without our written permission.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, photos, graphics, logos and product designs, belongs to MechanicalBow or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not use it without our permission.

9. Reviews and messages

If you send us reviews, comments, photos or ideas, you allow us to use, publish and edit them in connection with our store. You confirm that what you send is your own, is accurate and does not break any law or anyone else's rights.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MechanicalBow is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for injury, loss or damage resulting from misuse, modification or failure to follow safety instructions. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify MechanicalBow against any claims, losses or costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of our products, or your violation of any law or the rights of others.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. This does not take away any mandatory protection you have under the consumer laws of the state where you live.

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
